There are many children in India who need better education and healthcare

health and sanitation

At NSF , we understand the importance of creating awareness amongst the citizens and take responsibility of self and society, beginning, with an awareness on health and hygiene. In this context, NSF continues to spread knowledge through programmes, such as the recent “Health is wealth” awareness camps in Landour with Landour Community Hospital, Mussoorie, “Sanitation, Hygiene and Health Camp” with the help of Herbetpur Community Hospital  at Herbetpur , Uttarakhand, amongst others.

Cleanliness drives such as “Clean School” campaign in the Uttarakhand Hill Schools which further broadened into cleanliness drives in the villages bordering these schools. The Cleanliness drive brought about remarkable changes in the mind set  towards hygiene and sanitation, which we hope will create a ripple effect.

Similar cleanliness drives are conducted by NSF at the labour camps of large construction projects where the Labourers and their families are taught about basic  health, hygiene and sanitation.
